it all started in the summer of 2022, when I discovered this café in a touristic place called Sidi Bou Said, located in a mediterranean north african country, Tunisia. I'm Tunisian, obviously :) and I have never traveled to any country before, but in Sidi Bou Said you'll get to see people from all parts of the world, I always loved to see different people, having to spend the first 16 years of my life in a small town, almost cut off from the world made me crave to be in places and meet people different from me. going back to the actual story, I remember having 10 TND I decided to treat myself and go to this café, which is obviously expensive regarding it's location, i sat there, read a bit, and kept observing my surroundings, this specific café, unlike any other café I've been to before, the staff were about my age, they had a cool and pretty barista, everything in the place seemed to be placed carefully, I told myself, it would be really cool If I ever worked here, I remember ordering a lemon juice, it was quite expensive for me at the time, having only 4tnd left, i wished I could afford to also order something else, the menu was quite varied and they had really good looking pasteries, i wasn't ungrateful either that's why i enjoyed my time there.
